Yes.  We provide you with our Nightingale app, designed for exactly that purpose.    Supported on any smartphone or tablet, the app can work both online and offline – which is a huge advantage with a mobile workforce handling consumer-directed care clients.  The app offers a range of Nightingale functions to enhance efficiency and accuracy. And with the ability to take photos and video footage, it facilitates the incident reports process.

Installation time will vary depending on the size of your organisation and how many elements of Nightingale you want to use. Advice on installation and an estimated timeline will be included when we provide you with a quote.

Yes. One of the big advantages of Nightingale over most of the other products on the market, is that it is designed to work with your organisation and fit with your needs… much like our general approach. Nightingale has an easy to use form builder that can accommodate your specific requirements.

Training for your team is built into our costing packages. Once we have installed Nightingale and tested that it is working and integrates well with your systems, we arrange training for your staff.  We come to you. The number of type of training sessions will vary depending on your staff group, their location and their availability. Our clients tell us that Nightingale really is easy to use, however we are available to offer support on the phone if anyone gets stuck.

Nightingale has been developed to be flexible enough to fit in with your current systems as much as possible. Depending on the systems you currently have, it is possible some customization will be needed. It is best to talk to us about your systems so we can provide the best advice right from the start.

Nightingale was originally designed with NDIS and WANDIS in mind.  It successfully communicates with the NDIS online portal, so you know you will meet expectations on client support plans, outcomes, goals, financial reporting, invoice data and case notes. Because of its flexibility, we adapted Nightingale to also be fully compliant with the systems, invoicing and requirements of Commonwealth Home Support Program and the Commonwealth Aged Care Packages program.

Once you are up and running we provide you with an emergency contact for support out of hours. For non-urgent issues you can log a request for support via email. All support is provided by our own fully trained team. We don’t use sub-contractors.

Keeping your data safe is one of our main priorities. After carefully considering a range of hosting options, we chose to host with Microsoft Azure. Used by many large corporations and the Australian government, Azure hosting provides the following benefits:

  • All data remains in Australia,
  • Their processes are compliant with Australian Government Signals Directorate standards for cloud security – which means 100% of all data is encrypted,
  • They offer enterprise grade cloud servers that are duplicated in Sydney and Melbourne for extra security,
  • The back-ups occur every three hours and are kept for 30 days, and
  • An audit trail is embedded for every transaction – nothing is ever deleted.

Nightingale is designed to work in a variety of browsers and operating systems. To date they include Windows, Linux, Mac devices running Safari, Edge, Firefox or Chrome browsers, as long as the versions are post-2016.  The Nightingale app on Windows, IOS or Android Mobile smart devices that are less than three years old. We do point out though, that the screen size of your device may impact the user experience.

We are committed to ensuring that Nightingale remains, fresh, relevant and current. So our team is happy to talk through any features that you need. If it is a specialised feature, just for your organisation, there may be a cost associated with the development. If any three clients identify a requirement to support emerging practice or any regulatory changes, we will build that change at no cost.  So in this case – three IS a crowd!
